JOHNSON, JAMES DAVID, age 84 of Lenoir City passed away Monday, March 7, 2011 at Parkwest Hospital. He was a member of Second Baptist Church and a veteran of the U. S. Navy serving in W. W. II. Preceded in death by his son, Dennis Norman Johnson; parents, Russell and Vancie Johnson; sisters, Linda Johnson and Barbara Lane; brothers, John T. Johnson, Russell Johnson Jr. and Larry Johnson and daughter-in-law, Carolyn C. Johnson. He is survived by his wife, Alma Ruth Johnson; sons, Robert (Betty) Johnson of Sweetwater, Bruce (Debbie) Johnson of Lenoir City, Tom (Trish) of Loudon and Anthony (Liz) of Lenoir City; 11 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; brother, Kenneth Johnson of Lenoir City; sisters, Joyce White of McMinn Co., Louise Cook of Greenback and Lillian Sartin of Lenoir City; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Click Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. with Rev. Bob Gamble and Rev. Rick Harrell officiating. Family and friends will gather at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Lakeview Cemetery for graveside services. Military honors will be conferred by the Loudon Co. Veterans Honor Guard.
